The Parrot 

Simple pallet, easy  

This vibrant, wings open parrot is perfect for brightening up these dark winter nights and who could resist a colourful bird in this type of pose.  We get to do some drybrush/dry on wet to create our wings and use splashing to add dynamism to our subject with an array of shades, all coming from gouache, Cerulean Blue, Cadmium Yellow and i even ran out of Paynes gray, oops (but you can use yours) so i had to think laterally and use a neutral instead here. It really comes to life with the splashing  with our coach and colours though so grab your brushes and get painting…
